Today, we are excited to share an important milestone in our journey:
NFT Bridges is rebranding to OnChain Bridges.
This is more than just a cosmetic name change. It reflects a clear strategic shift in what we do, who we serve, and where we believe the next wave of on-chain innovation is heading.
Why we are rebranding
To begin with, when we started as NFT Bridges, our focus was exactly what the name suggested: safely moving NFTs between chains.
Over the last year, however, both the market and our customers have pushed us to do much more:
- Companies and issuers increasingly represent and operate real-world assets (RWAs) on-chain across multiple ecosystems.
- Institutions and brands exploring cross-chain identity and credentials
- Games and platforms realizing their assets and players are siloed on a single chain and struggling to scale
- Additionally, more projects want to mint once and distribute natively across multiple chains, rather than being confined to a single environment.
Our technology evolved to support all of that. Our brand did not.
In other words, the word “NFT” in our name has become too narrow for what we actually deliver. Moreover, it anchors us to a perception focused mostly on collectibles and speculation. Meanwhile, we are increasingly centering our roadmap on infrastructure for on-chain economies and institutional-grade RWA flows.
OnChain Bridges is a more accurate reflection of who we are now:
- We bridge on-chain assets of many types – NFTs, RWAs, credentials, and gaming assets
- We help partners design natively multichain products, not just move tokens between networks
We are building the rails for the next generation of on-chain finance and utility, not just digital art.
This is why NFT Bridges is rebranding to Onchain Bridges.
What OnChain Bridges stands for
1. A strong emphasis on RWAs
Tokenized RWAs are moving from “interesting idea” to real, regulated products. Debt, equity, funds, treasuries, invoices, and more are going on-chain.
Our thesis is simple:
RWAs will not live on one chain. RWAs will originate, settle, and be used across multiple networks
We are building OnChain Bridges as the infrastructure layer that enables RWA issuers, platforms, and institutions to:
- Mint assets and distribute them natively on several chains
- Move assets between chains without breaking compliance or data models.
- Plug into secure cross-chain messaging like Chainlink CCIP for decentralization and security.
The rebrand signals our long-term commitment to this space. We are not experimenting with RWAs on the side – OnChain Bridges is positioning itself as a core enabler of multichain RWA liquidity.
2. NFTs, identity, and credentials still matter
We are not “leaving NFTs.” We are expanding around them.
Digital identity, reputation, and credentials are increasingly represented as tokens or token-like primitives. These assets need to:
- Move with users across chains
- Preserve history and trust.
- Integrate with dApps and platforms in multiple ecosystems.
At the same time, OnChain Bridges will continue to support NFT collections and communities. In addition, we are extending the same bridging and cross-chain minting capabilities to:
- Soulbound or semi-transferable credentials
- Membership and access tokens
- Identity-linked assets and game profiles
our existing NFT partners still receive the same level of support and, in many cases, even more. At the same time, they now benefit from a broader infrastructure that large enterprises and institutions also rely on.
3. Gaming assets and players across chains
Today, many games silo their assets and players on the chain they launched on. That creates real problems:
- As a result, it is hard to recruit enough players if you are limiting your game to a single ecosystem
- Launching full versions of the game on multiple chains is expensive and fragments your user base.
- Cross-chain expansion is complex and risky to build in-house.
OnChain Bridges allows games, launchpads, and platforms to:
- Bridge in-game assets and NFTs as a native iFrame experience embedded directly into their site or launcher
- Onboard players from other chains with minimal friction
- Turn cross-chain travel into part of the game itself – “moving to a new world” becomes a quest, not a support ticket.
This remains a key pillar of our product strategy, and the new brand makes it much clearer that we support all on-chain game assets, not just collectible NFTs.
What changes, and what stays the same
Things that are changing:
- Name: NFT Bridges is now OnChain Bridges across our brand, communication, and future product releases
- Positioning: From primarily “NFT bridge” to a broader on-chain asset connectivity and cross-chain minting platform, with a strong RWA focus
- Narrative: We are framing ourselves around enabling on-chain economies – not just bridging collections
All that is not changing:
- The team and core technology remain the same
- Our commitment to security, decentralization, and reliability, including using Chainlink’s infrastructure, such as CCIP
- Our relationships with existing partners, communities, and NFT collections
- Our long-term belief is that multichain wins, and that assets, users, and value will flow across many networks
If you are already using NFT Bridges, you do not need to do anything. Your integrations, agreements, and support will seamlessly continue under the OnChain Bridges name.
Why this matters now
We are at an inflection point:
- RWAs are moving from pilot projects to scaled products
- Chains are differentiating on culture, tooling, and regulation, but users and assets will not stay in one place.
- Games, brands, and platforms want to be multichain by design, not forced to choose a single ecosystem.
Teams that build on the right infrastructure early will capture the most attractive opportunities. That is what OnChain Bridges is for.
Partners who work with us at this stage of our pivot will:
- Shape our RWA and institutional roadmap
- Gain priority access to new features in cross-chain minting and asset management.
- Benefit from being early adopters of the connectivity layer we are building between high-value assets and multiple chains
What is next
In the coming weeks, we will:
- Roll out the OnChain Bridges branding across our site, docs, and dashboards
- Share more detailed product updates around RWAs, identity, and gaming use cases.
- Announce new partnerships that highlight how we are enabling multichain on-chain asset strategies in practice.
If you are:
- An RWA issuer or platform exploring multichain distribution
- A game or gaming platform looking to expand beyond a single chain
- A protocol, ecosystem, or investor interested in on-chain asset infrastructure
Welcome to OnChain Bridges.
Same mission, bigger scope: connecting everything that is on-chain.
